Cancer Care

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the United States. Nearly 40% of all men and women are diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime.

Lifestyle plays an important part in cancer diagnosis. While some cancers are unavoidable, many others can be avoided by eliminating the use of all tobacco products, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, using sunscreen or other protection from the sun, and semi-regular screening tests. Cancers that can and should be tested for regularly are: colon cancer, lung cancer, cervical cancer and testicular cancer.
